Bal bhawan,the welfare wing of Tanvi Sangam, Ladies club of NTPC Talcher Kaniha celebrated its Annual Day celebration recently at Recreation Centre ,NTPC Township.
The function was inaugurated by Shri Ramesh Babu V, Group General Manager, Talcher Kaniha & Smt Vani V, President ,Tanvi Sangam by lighting of lamps in presence of senior officials and executive members of the Ladies Club Tanvi Sangam & Bal Bhawan.
GGM, Shri Ramesh Babu in his address congratulated members of Bal Bhawan for their active participation for all round development of the children through organisation of various extracurricular activities throughout the year. He said hoped that in the current year also, office bearers of Bal Bhawan will deliver the good as done in past.
On this occasion Smt Laxmi Sudhakar Secretary, Bal Bhawan shared the annual report highlighting the achievements and initiatives taken by the ladies wing.Smt Susmita Acharya ,Incharge Bal Balbhawan , Tanvi Sangam on this occasion spoke of role of Bal Bhawan in providing quality education to the children of kindergarten group through its nursery school. She said children of the Bal Bhawan are very talented and needs to participate in the various art & culture forums at National level which will recognition to the power station.
Children of Bal Bhawan performed thrilling dance performances which included tradiotinal & modern during the cultural evening programme. Highlight of the evening was fashion show on “mila sur mera tumahara to sur bana hamara”, in which children displayed various Indian states cultural heritage and appreciated by one and all. Prizes to the children were distributed by the distinguished guests who have performed excellently in various competitions of drawing,dance & sports etc.
