NTPC Talcher Kaniha, the second largest power station among NTPC stations is strategically moving ahead with long-term fuel security plan to fulfill its coal requirement for the 3010 MW power station which includes 3000 MW Thermal and 10 MW solar power.In order to fulfill its coal requirement, the power station has received coal from NTPC Dulanga Mines located at Jharsuguda ,Odisha today. The station received coal consignment of 3350 Metric Tonne(MT) from 57 wagons through road cum railway mode. On the occasion, Shri Sudip Nag ,Chief General Manager,NTPC Talcher Kaniha received the coal rakes with traditional welcome by breaking coconuts along with General Managers & Heads of the Department .He congratulated the fuel management team for the achieving the feat.The stations will receive approx. 3500 MT daily from Dulanga Mines.The coal lifting from Dulanga mines is in line with station’s strategic action plan to ease the operation of the Station caused due to coal crisis and inadequate coal supply resulted into generation loss in recent past.Shri N S Rao ,GM(O&M), Shri K K Das ,GM(FM) Shri Nabin Bagai ,GM(SSC C&M),Shri P Siva Ramkrishna ,GM(Operations),Shri K S Sarma ,AGM(HR),Shri S S Pradhan ,AGM(EMG) ,Shri S K Dash ,AGM(Mgr) and other offcials of the power lstation were present on the occasion.
